How to find Packaging Vendors worth Trusting

Are you looking to change your packaging vendor? You’re not alone actually. When you enter relationships with packaging companies, you’ve got to choose who you work with in a wise manner. You need to make sure that you choose someone with the correct logistics, materials, machinery, services, and lead times that are reasonable.  You also want to choose someone who is very trustworthy too. But what makes a person capable of being a trustworthy vendor? Here, you’ll find out!

How to Choose Someone

If you’re looking for packaging vendors that are reliable, you have a few things that you need to consider. The first thing is you have to check how the vendor handles customers. Look at their knowledge, how they handle complaints and the like, any sorts of sales reps they have, their technicians, and what kind of machinery and materials they offer for people to use to get the help that they need for their packaging.

You should always choose something with a track record that’s proven, and one that’s got a large amount of customers that are happy. But you also need to choose someone that you’re able to trust.  You should choose someone that’s willing to give you those solutions that you need. If they can’t, it’s going to be a nightmare to work with them.

Reviews Tell All

Reviews will tell you a lot about someone. but don’t just choose one type of location for reviews. Check social media channels, the company page, and even yelp and Google Reviews. Most of the time, you want to choose someone between 3.5 and 5 stars, and majority positive comments.

You should also look at the negative comments though, since those negative comments may tell you about some of the issues you might run into if you decide to work with them, so keep that in mind.  Testimonials are another one. Testimonials will discuss the different packaging aspects, including how fast they are, the customer service, the product quality, and other important dynamics. If the packaging that you look for doesn’t have any of this, consider that a red flag.  If you think about it, if they're not singing praises, that’s weird, isn’t it?

Choose one with a Preferred Shipper and receiver

You want to make sure that you’ve got one that works well with the truckers, because they’re what get everything from point A to point B usually. Preferred shipper and receiver are those that manage the experiences that are there. Companies that offer this usually offer necessities that truckers want to have a good experience, including picking up and dropping off the loads, and the experience overall.

You should look at the routes that they follow, the essential signage that’s there to help them, and also whether the company offers clear indications and places for truckers to relax while they wait.  you want to make sure that the vendor you choose has that, because a good relationship with the truckers means that you’re going to get a whole lot more product out, and a lot more happy customers that are there too.

You can find this as well by looking at the reviews that they have and look at how the truckers are reviewing it.  If they’ve got reviews that are positive, you’re good to go, if it’s bad, you shouldn’t trust them.

Looking into all of this is vital for you to get the most out of your packaging vendors, and there is so much that you can get out of this, and a whole lot that you can get from this, too.
